ESORICS is the leading European research event in computer security and information assurance. It attracts an international audience from both the academic and industrial communities. Since its first edition in 1990 ESORICS has been held every other year but due to its success, it has become a yearly appointment for the computer security community since 2002. A different European country hosts the symposium every year. The 2005 edition will take place in Milan, Italy, at the Università degli Studi di Milano.


Papers accepted at ESORICS are published by Springer-Verlag in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science series. High-quality original unpublished research, case studies and implementation experiences, as well as industrial research and development are accepted on topics including:
