A five minutes walk through via Crema takes you to Largo Medaglie d'Oro, at the closest metro stop, P.ta Romana, on the yellow line. A 15 minutes walk along corso di Porta Romana will take you to p.zza S. Nazaro, and from there through the alley to the left of the church you will arrive at the University. Walking to the University takes about 30 minutes, if you can resist shopping temptations along the way, otherwise a 4 stops ride on the Red metro line will take you to Duomo square. Take via Marconi, opposite the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, to Piazza Diaz; proceed straight to via Baracchini, cross via Larga and take via Chiaravalle straight ahead.
